As an Urban Planning Specialist, you will support the wider planning team in delivering innovative solutions for clients. About the Role:

This position requires at least a year's experience in a planning role, whether in the public or private sector. A good understanding of the UK planning process is essential.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Drafting and managing planning applications, pre-application enquiries, and appeals.
  2. Conducting research and preparing planning appraisals.
  3. Providing guidance to engineers and architects on planning-related submissions.
  4. Managing section or project budgets and work in progress.
  5. Gaining responsibility for fee control and technical direction on projects.
  6. Building client relationships and gaining experience in stakeholder management.
  7. Supporting community engagement, public examinations, and committee meetings.
