Quantity Surveyor Assistant

Based in East Kilbride, we are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a vital role in assisting our site and project surveyors in the development and implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting subcontractor procurement exercises to obtain best value, including the production of sub-contractor documentation to Taziker framework standards.
- Producing and submitting interim and final accounts to clients.
- Evaluating and certifying sub-contractor payments through ordering and financial systems.
- Providing daily supervision of the Commercial Administrator, ensuring tasks are complete.
- Ensuring compliance with standards and procedures in respect of commercial activities.
- Agreeing final accounts.
- Implementing commercial processes to ensure contractual entitlement is realised.
- Monthly cost and value reconciliation & management.
- Working within strict deadlines required under the contract and required by the company.
- Ad hoc commercial duties as job requires.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Travel/driving to sites is required.
