About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our Production Engineering team at The Newt in Somerset. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food production and commercial catering equipment. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular maintenance checks on all plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Schedule and perform routine servicing of equipment and processing plant to maintain high levels of efficiency and productivity.
- Responsible for workflow and record-keeping to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Identify and implement areas for improvement and efficiency gains, contributing to the continuous development of our production processes.

About You
