Production Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our Engineering Department at The Newt in Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food production and commercial catering equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on all plant and equipment.
- Schedule and perform routine servicing of equipment and processing plant.
- Manage workflow and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Identify and implement improvements to efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:
- Comprehensive experience in a relevant engineering role.
- Electrical knowledge, preferably with a recognised qualification.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and lift heavy equipment.

Working Environment:
The Engineering Department is responsible for maintaining the Company's assets, including buildings, mechanical and plant equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with our Production Engineering Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our food production and commercial catering equipment.
