About the Role:

Sensible Locums is seeking a Temporary Mental Health Nurse to work in a prestigious private hospital in Wellingborough. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and monitor their effects to ensure patient safety.
  • Support and Counseling: Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families to promote well-being.
  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Hold a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • Licensure: Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience: Have previous experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Skills: Possess strong clinical and assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and empathy and compassion.

Salary: Estimated salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
