Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS) team. As a key member of our specialist team, you will work closely with Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Neuropsychology, and other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered, goal-directed neurological rehabilitation in community and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in Neurology and/or Stroke and possess excellent organizational, communication, and teamworking skills. You will be responsible for leading the professional and clinical agenda, developing clinical guidelines, pathways, and processes, and supporting and training staff.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team based at Braunstone Health & Social Care Centre, with bases across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. Full and part-time hours will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective management and clinical leadership of the Occupational Therapy team in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
  • Act as an expert for the multi-agency team and patients in the relevant field.
  • Hold a caseload and support team members with caseload management.
  • Line manage the team and participate in the development of quality improvements for service delivery.
  • Deputise for the Clinical/Service Lead as appropriate.
