Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Specialist

Salary:£24,071 - £25,674 per annum

We are actively promoting flexible working options to help you manage a work-life balance. You will be working on a short-stay rehab unit at Leicester General Hospital, alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

Your role will involve carrying out treatment programmes for medical patients with various conditions. Experience working within a healthcare setting is essential, preferably as a therapy assistant. Understanding the role of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy is crucial.

You will receive comprehensive induction, regular supervision, and annual appraisal. Additionally, you will have access to a training programme to support your development.

This opportunity enables you to contribute to the provision of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech and Language Therapy within a specified clinical area.

  • Main responsibilities include supporting those with complex needs, working towards Therapy and UHL Service priorities, and understanding the role of OT/PT in acute settings.
  • Prior experience or an understanding of patients with neurological conditions is desirable.
