Casualty Broking Role Overview

Aon is seeking an accomplished Casualty Broker to lead our UK broking team in placing large, multinational corporate risks into the carrier market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the UK Casualty Broking function to ensure compliant broking activity within our UK Broking Strategy
  • Managing trading relationships with insurers and analysing insurance markets to brief colleagues
  • Developing and coaching junior brokers to achieve best broking outcomes for clients
  • Acting as Strategic Account Broker on complex global accounts across product lines

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Technical UK casualty insurance knowledge and experience managing global client relationships
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and demonstrate integrity and professionalism
