Research Associate in Digital Hydraulic Fluid Power Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team at the University of Bath. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of digital hydraulic fluid power technologies and control systems.
About the Role
The Research Associate will be responsible for delivering high-quality research on the topic of digital hydraulic fluid power technologies. This will involve designing and modelling digital hydraulic fluid power systems, prototyping and validating digital hydraulic converters, and integrating and experimenting with digital fluid power systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and model digital hydraulic fluid power systems
- Prototype and validate digital hydraulic converters
- Integrate and experiment with digital fluid power systems
- Stimulate and create pathways to impact and disseminate research outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD degree in a subject area relevant to the project, as well as previous experience in one or more of the following areas: modelling, design, control, or prototyping of fluid power components and systems.
