About the Role:

Athena Care Homes is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Aria Court Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the care team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional care outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Monitor and report on resident care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices in care.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a care leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of care standards and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.
