Senior Healthcare Assistant Job Description

Are you ambitious and have an interest in caring for vulnerable adults? At Fairlie Healthcare, we offer a unique opportunity to develop valuable clinical skills and increase your hourly rate.

What You Will Do:

  • As a Care Assistant, you will start by learning essential care skills in the first three months, obtaining your Care Skills Certificate, which is recognised nationwide.
  • You will then learn how to care for patients with tracheostomies and eventually ventilated patients, with a pay increase after completing each training phase.
  • Typical duties include ensuring personal care needs of residents are met, completing documentation, and assigned tasks as instructed by the nurse in charge.
