About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Operations to join our team at Wren Kitchens. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate operational financial data to the business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the operations finance team to ensure seamless financial operations
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to optimize stock holdings and purchasing forecasts
- Develop and maintain a weekly manufacturing and transport pack to inform business decisions
- Prepare and present weekly financial commentary on volumes, manufacturing, and material variance, fixed costs, and site margin
- Conduct in-depth analysis of MUV/PPV/MPV and direct and indirect labor
- Manage the site and transport fixed asset register
- Review and analyze weekly PI counts and operational numbers
- Work closely with the System and Data lead to ensure accurate master data
- Ensure all systems are aligned and integrated
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
About You
We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience in a manufacturing role, preferably with a recognized ERP system such as IFS. You should possess excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. A commitment to delivering high-quality work and challenging the status quo is essential.
