About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance Operations to join our team at Wren Kitchens. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate operational financial data to the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operations finance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial data and insights.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure accurate stock holdings and purchasing forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain the weekly manufacturing/transport pack, providing key financial commentary on volumes, manufacturing, and material variance.
  • Prepare and review weekly financial reports, including direct and indirect labour analysis, and site/transport fixed asset register.
  • Work closely with the System & Data lead to ensure all master data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

About You

We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience in a manufacturing role, preferably with a recognised ERP system. You will have excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, as well as strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience of a recognised ERP system (preferably IFS)
  • Previous experience gained in a manufacturing role
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with colleagues and suppliers
