Job Title: Building Surveyor

Marks Consulting Partners Limited is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our team in Surrey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our Local Authority clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective technical guidance to ensure high standards and statutory compliance.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the Council's corporate vision, behaviours, and priorities.
  • Maintain and repair buildings, mechanical, and electrical plant, equipment, and services.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion within approved budgets and timescales.
  • Develop and procure information systems.
  • Day-to-day maintenance and management of service contracts.
  • Ensure legislative requirements are met and recorded.
  • Renew equipment and propose improvements.
  • Conduct condition surveys and M&E works.
  • Perform fire risk assessments.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in building surveying.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in awkward positions and manage multiple projects.
