We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Operative to join a prestigious university based in Uxbridge.

**Main Accountabilities:**

* To be part of a team of Infrastructure Operatives responsible for providing general support across a variety of trades as part of a high-quality, professional and customer-focused maintenance service to the University and its stakeholders outside of normal core hours.
* To carry out reactive and planned maintenance tasks to support the University's physical infrastructure.
* To work with and support colleagues across the University in order to carry out work effectively and efficiently.
* To accept supervision and task setting from the Infrastructure Delivery Managers and Infrastructure Technicians and work under own initiative to ensure completion of tasks and objectives.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities:**

* To carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of building services and systems and undertake checks and testing in accordance with relevant legislation and keep appropriate records.
* To ensure that low stock levels of general materials are reported in a timely manner to ensure no loss of continuity in providing an efficient service.
* To assist with minor installation works and to assist contractors and other trades as and when required.

**Requirements:**

* To be able to work effectively as part of a team and to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
* To be able to work under own initiative and to be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
* To be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
