IT Infrastructure Strategist

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Strategist to oversee the design, development and maintenance of our college's IT infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects.

• Oversee the design, development and maintenance of the college's IT infrastructure.
• Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer, IT Director, Director of Funding and Information Services, and staff across the college to contribute to the IT strategy.
• Lead the infrastructure team to oversee change control, day-to-day operations, and ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and legal, regulatory and ethical requirements.
• Research and drive innovation in new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

• At least 5 years experience in an IT infrastructure role, preferably within an educational setting.
• In-depth knowledge of Hyper-V, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure Services, including resource provisioning, management and optimisation.
• Experience in configuring, managing and supporting firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, DNS and DHCP, and certificate services.
• Automating application deployment using SCCM and Intune.
• Leading a team of IT Engineers and managing relationships with outsourced strategic partners.

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
