Job Title: Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dental Receptionist to join our team at PortmanDentex in Canterbury, Kent.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity for a fixed term of 9 months to cover maternity leave. You will work 24 hours per week, typically on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and a warm welcome to our practice
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring confidentiality and data protection
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and specialists to ensure seamless care
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a front-of-house or reception role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and service
