Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team at Vast Services, Investing in Communities. As a Community Support Specialist, you will work closely with clients to understand their issues and provide guidance on available options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talk to clients over the phone or via email/webchat to explore their problems and provide support.
  • Help clients understand their entitlements and complete benefit application forms.
  • Support clients with housing-related issues and provide information on their rights.
  • Identify common or unfair problems and write reports or letters to elected officials.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary as full training will be provided.
  • Willingness to learn about Citizens Advice's aims, principles, and policies.
  • Ability to undertake training and adhere to confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
