IT Support and Development Officer

**Job Overview**
We are looking for an experienced IT Support and Development Officer to join our Technology and Information Services team at Tamworth Borough Council. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing responsive IT support to staff and members, as well as contributing to the implementation of our ICT Strategy.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, delivering a variety of projects and initiatives that support the council's objectives. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring effective problem resolution and delivery of results.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in an IT support role, with excellent knowledge of technologies such as Windows desktop and server operating systems, Microsoft 365, Entra/Active Directory/Azure and Intune, VMware ESXi/Horizon View, and a good understanding of Cyber Security and associated technologies.
We offer a competitive salary of £34,000-£38,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including flexible working, a non-contributory health scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.
