Youth Sports Development Officer

Smile Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sports Coach to support the development of pupils in Tamworth.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a background in sports coaching and experience working with children or young adults, delivering high-quality sports lessons to pupils from Year 7 to GCSE level.
This role involves working effectively with experienced PE Teachers to develop and deliver lesson plans, ensuring inclusive and engaging sports activities for pupils with varying abilities and needs.
We offer a supportive environment where you can gain valuable classroom-based experience and develop your teaching skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver sports lessons to pupils from Year 7 to GCSE level.
- Collaborate with PE Teachers to develop and deliver lesson plans.
- Support pupils with diverse needs to ensure an inclusive sports programme.
- A recent graduate (from 2023 onwards) in a sports-related field or an experienced sports coach.
- Confident in managing practical sports activities with large groups of pupils.
- An interest in working within a school setting and supporting pupils in PE.

- Training through our Smile Education Graduate Academy.
- An estimated salary range of £95-£130 per day, depending on experience.
