About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sports Coach to support pupils from Year 7 through to GCSE level at a friendly school in Tamworth.

The successful applicant will work alongside experienced PE Teachers, delivering pre-planned lesson content and contributing to a positive learning environment.

This role is ideal for graduates from sports-related degrees or coaches with significant experience working with children or young adults.

As a Sports Coach, you will gain valuable classroom-based experience before pursuing further study.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality sports lessons to pupils from Year 7 to GCSE level.
  2. Collaborate with experienced PE Teachers to develop and deliver engaging lesson plans.
  3. Support pupils with varying abilities and needs to ensure inclusive and enjoyable sports activities.

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate (from 2023 onwards) from a sports-related route of study or an experienced sports coach with a background in supporting children or young adults.
  • Confident in managing practical sports activities while working with large groups of pupils.
  • A genuine interest in working within a school setting and supporting pupils in PE.

Expected Salary Range: £95-£130 per day, depending on experience level.
