Palliative Care Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Palliative Care Team Member to join our team at HOSPICE UK. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children and their families.

Job Description:
  • Assist in the delivery of palliative care services to children with life-limiting illnesses in a supportive and family-centered environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient and their family.
  • Provide symptom management, pain control, and other support services to optimize the quality of life for our young patients.
  • Participate in on-call duties to ensure 24/7 coverage and rapid response to emergencies.
Requirements:
  • NMC Registered Children's Nurse with experience in pediatric palliative care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients and their loved ones.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of current research and best practices in pediatric palliative care.
