Job Title:​ Development Manager Team Lead



​We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated NMC registered nurse to provide leadership and management to the TB Team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful applicant will assess adults and children for TB, screen with Mantoux or IGRA, administer BCG vaccine, promote and undertake HIV testing, undertake holistic assessments applying national and local guidelines, caseload manage, identify close contacts of index cases, and facilitate appropriate screening.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide clinical leadership and management to the clinical team.
  • Ensure that the team provides a high-quality service to its clients by providing caseload and clinical supervision.
  • Have full line management responsibility for the team ensuring appropriate delegation and delivery of patient/client care.
  • Participate in the development of caseload management across the local health economy.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to those staff developing into a caseload management role.
  • Act as an advocate and champion for patients/clients in various forums and professional groups and challenge attitudes and behaviour.
  • Implement plans for the team including rotas and schedules/working patterns to ensure business continuity.
  • Following holistic assessment of health needs, develop individualised care plans to fulfill those needs, with the involvement of patients/clients and carers.


Requirements:



​The post holder will be required to have knowledge, skills, and expertise in TB nursing and be able to provide leadership and management to the TB Team.



Working Arrangements:



​Community home visits are required.
