Red Kite Waste is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Advisor / Compliance Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our SHEQ department, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality regulations across our multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective health and safety working practices that are communicated to the workforce.
  2. Ensure our sites operate within permitted environmental regulations and quality standards.
  3. Conduct regular health and safety, environmental, and quality audits to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Liaise with the Health and Safety Executive and other regulatory bodies as required.

Requirements:

We are looking for a practical and professional individual with a hands-on approach to health and safety, quality, and environmental issues. You will have a NEBOSH General or higher qualification and may be affiliated with IOSH. Experience building relationships with the Health and Safety Executive and knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 is essential. IOSH Managing Safely, IOSH Environmental, NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Diploma, NEBOSH Environmental) or be working towards them.
