About the Role


University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join their Radiology Information Team as an Information Analyst.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key information and supporting the overall performance of the Care Group within the Trust.


Using Excel and other advanced data visualisation tools, the Information Analyst will extract, manipulate and validate large amounts of data to ensure its accuracy and integrity.


As part of this role, the candidate will work closely with the Radiology Information Team to develop and implement data visualisation solutions that support the Trust's operational goals.


Key Responsibilities



  • Analysing large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
  • Validating data to ensure it meets internal guidelines and data submissions
  • Using hospital computerised patient systems to analyse and check patient data
  • Dealing with sensitive and confidential patient information

Person Specification



  • Essential:

    • Educated to A-Level or NVQ Level 3 in Business
    • Administration/Customer Care or equivalent experience

  • Desirable:

    • Courses/further study related to leadership and management
    • Courses / further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development
