Global Banking School is seeking a dedicated academic professional in health and social care to contribute to our academic programs. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in teaching across a range of health and social care modules, contributing to curriculum development.


Our institution has achieved outstanding results in the National Student Survey, scoring above the sector average in all themes. The candidate will be expected to be flexible to teach during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.


Main Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:



  • Planning, delivering, and assessing student work to ensure all learning outcomes are met
  • Developing, updating, and improving course materials as necessary
  • Utilizing various learning and teaching methods, including live online learning
  • Attending meetings to contribute to decision-making and develop productive working relationships
  • Engaging in staff development activities and peer observations
  • Providing student support to ensure students have the necessary guidance
  • Participating in the performance management program, meeting objectives for student outcomes, satisfaction, retention, and attendance
  • Undertaking administrative duties as agreed with the line manager
  • Assuming additional responsibilities to support the work of Global Banking School

Requirements

The essential qualifications and experience for this role include:



  • A Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area
  • Teaching qualifications, such as PGCHE or MA in HE Practice
  • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses
  • Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback

The desirable qualifications and experience include:



  • Experience working in the industry relevant to the subject
