Salary Information

The salary for this role is starting from £29,845.20 per annum, dependent on qualification and experience. This is an above industry standard salary, with annual salary reviews included in our benefits package.

Job Description

As a Room Leader at Bright Horizons, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for children;
  • Delivering and planning rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to help all children develop and meet their individual milestones;
  • Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the individual needs of each child;
  • Promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification;
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar;
  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
