About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Teddington Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of our children.

Salary

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, starting from £27,231.95 per annum, rising to £28,274.40 dependent on qualification/s and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's needs, promoting their development towards key milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
  • Ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of all children in your care, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for everyone.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Level 3 or above Early Years practitioner (essential)
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally in a nursery setting)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with colleagues and parents alike
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
