Senior SHE Manager

Crescent Specialist Recruitment - CSR NI Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior SHE Manager to join their team in Belfast. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering the company's Safety, Health and Environmental Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance on SHE matters to the Project Management team.
  • Deliver Asbestos Awareness training in line with UKATA guidelines.
  • Liaise with statutory agencies and prepare initial Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for client approval.
  • Collaborate with clients through joint audits and meetings, and oversee subcontractor SHEQ prequalification checks.
  • Conduct site audits during high-risk activities and provide expert advice on legislative updates and their impact on business units.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the clients Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance activities, ensuring alignment with ISO standards.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of H&S experience in construction, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Diploma.
  • Direct experience working with site teams in a construction environment.
  • Knowledge of management standards / HSG65), and awareness of quality and environmental systems.
  • Familiarity with a Behavioural-Based Safety approach to H&S improvement.

Packages: £45 - £55k plus car/car allowance
