MCS Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Northern Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to develop and implement a new company Health and Safety Strategy, working closely with the leadership team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing safety in a manufacturing or construction environment, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective Health and Safety strategies to improve standards and promote a positive safety culture.
- Manage the development of Health and Safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
- Conduct Health and Safety risk assessments and lead projects to control hazardous substances and ensure safe systems of work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry best practices, including ISO standards, and be able to lead by example to drive a culture of safety excellence.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers genuine career development opportunities, including the potential to progress to Head of HSE.
Salary: Circa 50-60K
