VANRATH is partnering with a leading construction company to recruit a Senior Health & Safety Manager. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the business by completing Health & Safety questionnaires and developing project-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Review and update existing policies and procedures in line with current legislation, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Implement and oversee health and safety protocols in the workplace, collaborating with HR to establish safety induction programs and training for all employees.
- Inspect equipment and machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards, identifying areas for improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Health & Safety at a senior management level within a construction setting, preferably across multiple sites.
- Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
