Team Manager Role

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our dedicated team in Peterborough and Lincoln. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

About the Job:
The ideal candidate will have experience in children's services, with a proven track record of managing teams and ensuring effective practice and delivery of services. They will also have sound knowledge of Ofsted requirements and be able to maintain active engagement on all Safeguarding matters.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a designated team of people working with service users to provide required Children's Services activities and practices;
  2. Oversight and control of Service User Recording in the team to ensure it is undertaken in accordance with policies and procedures;
  3. Maintain staff competence by keeping them up to date with relevant developments in social care, education, health, and other relevant legislation;

Requirements:

  • A driver with experience in children's services;
  • Experience in line managing people;
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted;
