About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiotherapy Physics Technologist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for quality control of treatment machines and associated equipment in our centre.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, physics, or information technology, and will be able to work effectively in a clinical setting. They will also have good communication skills and be able to work closely with clinical scientists and engineers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform routine tests on equipment in the department
  • Ensure quality control records and local procedures are kept up-to-date
  • Assist with equipment management

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or HND in an appropriate subject
  • Good organisational skills and a commitment to improving services
  • Ability to work on weekends and evenings
