About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Paediatric Consultant to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our community paediatric team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in community paediatric clinic services, including Child Protection Medical clinics, Neuro-Developmental Clinics, and Special Educational Needs clinics.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children and families.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in community paediatrics.

Requirements

  • Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
  • On the GMC specialist register or within six months of successful completion of UK paediatric training at the time of interview.
  • Experience in community child health, neurodisability, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
