About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Consultant to join our team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate and lead on autism assessments in Hackney Ark Complex Communication Clinics (children under 5 years old).
  • Specific responsibility for Community Paediatrics in Patch Neurodevelopmental Clinic.
  • Child Protection: taking an active role, together with colleagues within the Trust, in seeing children with child protection concerns.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent.
  • MRCPCH or equivalent.
  • On GMC Specialist Register with full GMC registration.
  • CCT / CESR Paediatrics (or specialty trainee eligible for CCT within 6 months of interview date).

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Higher degree MSc, MD.
  • Subspecialty recognition in community paediatrics and/or neurodisability.
  • Management course.
