About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Consultant to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Paediatric Consultant in Community Paediatrics, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in community paediatric clinic services, including Child Protection Medical clinics, Neuro-Developmental Clinics, and Special Educational Needs clinics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to children and young people.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and students.
  • Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
  • On the GMC specialist register or within six months of successful completion of UK paediatric training.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
