Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Surrey Street Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Job Role
  • Provide general classroom assistance to children with SEN
  • Support children with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
  • Assist with lunchtime activities and run intervention strategies
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting pupils with significant or complex SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Commitment to developing good relationships with staff, children, parents, and outside agencies
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills equivalent to GCSE 4 or above
