Senior Transport Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planner to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing transportation plans and strategies for various civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transportation plans that consider factors such as traffic flow, safety, and environmental impact.
  • Conduct thorough traffic impact assessments and propose effective solutions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers, urban planners, and local authorities to integrate transportation plans with overall project designs.
  • Utilize transportation modeling software to simulate and analyze the impact of proposed transportation plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices in transportation planning.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate transportation plans and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in transportation modeling software such as VISSIM, Synchro, or Cube.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and propose solutions for transportation challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex transportation plans to clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant transportation regulations and environmental standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, a permanent contract, and the opportunity to work on exciting civil engineering projects in the transport infrastructure sector.
