Position: Lead Care Support Specialist

Location: Castlemead Court Care Home

We are seeking a Lead Care Support Specialist to become a vital part of our dedicated team, providing comprehensive physical, emotional, and social assistance to elderly individuals with varied requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and guide a team of Care Assistants
  • Report directly to the Home Manager
  • Develop individualized care plans and conduct risk assessments
  • Facilitate engaging activities that promote autonomy and dignity

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in Care with NVQ Level 2/3 or three years' experience without NVQ
  • Background in a nursing or care home setting
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards
  • Experience working with dementia patients is advantageous
  • Knowledge of medication administration is beneficial
