Position: Lead Care Support Specialist

Location: Castlemead Court Care Home

We are seeking a Lead Care Support Specialist to join our dedicated team in offering comprehensive physical, emotional, and social assistance to elderly individuals with varying needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and guide a team of Care Assistants
  • Report directly to the Home Manager
  • Develop individualized care plans and conduct risk assessments
  • Facilitate engaging activities that promote independence and dignity

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in care with NVQ Level 2/3 or three years' experience without NVQ
  • Prior experience in a nursing or care home setting
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards
  • Knowledge of dementia care is advantageous
  • Experience in medication administration is beneficial
