Job Opportunity: Specialist Occupational Therapist

At Phoenix Learning & Care Group, we're dedicated to providing exceptional support to children and young adults with complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Specialist Occupational Therapist and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

This role involves working closely with our integrated therapy team to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services. You'll have the autonomy to shape our services and create personalised therapy programs that meet the unique needs of each student.

Key responsibilities include taking a neurodiverse affirming and trauma-informed approach to clinical work, assessing and writing indirect therapy programs, providing advice and consultations, and delivering direct therapy. You'll also work alongside our Speech and Language Therapists and Creative Art Therapists to provide comprehensive support.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a recognised post-graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy, an essential qualification in Sensory Integration and Processing, and HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist with RCOT Membership. Experience in completing or contributing to capacity assessments and good IT skills are also essential.
