We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Pabulum Catering. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences to our students at one of our secondary schools in the Cambridge area.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the nutritional needs of our students.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including health and safety, training and development, and unit bookwork.
- Supply Chain Management: Receive and manage food deliveries, ensuring that all products are stored and handled correctly.
- Customer Service: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, team members, and customers, ensuring that the catering contract is always growing in the right direction.
- Passion for Food: A genuine passion for food and excellent customer service.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team and develop strong relationships with clients and customers.
- Financial Acumen: Basic financial skills, with the ability to manage budgets and make informed decisions.
- Craft Background: A craft background with relevant qualifications and experience.
- Competitive Salary: £32,500 per annum.
- Term-Time Contract: Monday to Friday, 7:00-15:00pm.
