About The Role

GRAHAM Group is seeking a highly skilled Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing all commercial activities on a project from procurement of subcontract packages to final account settlement with the supply chain and the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with estimators and establish project cost allowances.
  • Measure and value subcontract and labour work.
  • Prepare and issue subcontract documentation.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and variations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of subcontract contra charges and register subcontract payments.
  • Collate and value weekly labour allocation sheets and plant records.
  • Regularly review contract cost ledgers and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and report on forecast final costs and recovery.
  • Negotiate and agree rates with subcontractors.
  • Review recovery against labour-only work.
  • Attend meetings with site agents and contracts directors.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced quantity surveyor who can demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial practices and procedures. You will have a proven track record of managing commercial activities on large-scale projects and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
