About The Role

Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor - Permanent Opportunity

GRAHAM Group is seeking an experienced Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage a significant healthcare project in the Midlands region.

This role will be responsible for all commercial activities on the project, including procurement of subcontract packages, final account settlement with the supply chain and the client, and preparation of subcontract documentation.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar position with a main contractor and a full driving license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with estimators and establish project cost allowances
  • Measure and value subcontract and labour work
  • Prepare and issue subcontract documentation
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and variations
  • Ensure accurate recording of subcontract contra charges and register subcontract payments
  • Collate and value weekly labour allocation sheets and plant records
  • Regularly review contract cost ledger and identify areas for improvement
  • Establish and report on forecast final costs and forecast final recovery
  • Prepare and issue subcontract payment notifications and cost allowances
  • Negotiate and agree rates with labour-only subcontractors
  • Review recovery against labour-only work and attend meetings with site agents
