Role Overview
Vetro Recruitment is actively seeking experienced Adults Learning Disability Support Workers to join our team in St Athan, providing supported living services to adults aged 18 and upwards with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities or sensory impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible.
- Provide therapeutic care and support to patients with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
- Maintain accurate records of patient conditions and ensure each person is treated with dignity, compassion, and honesty.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
- An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a social care setting.
- A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- A full UK driving licence.
- The right to work in the UK.
