About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at RedCat Pubs. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in the development and implementation of new menus and dishes
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and quality
  • Take ownership of kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, adhering to COSHH and EHO standards
  • Collaborate with the team to drive innovation and creativity in the kitchen
  • Contribute to the development of junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship
Requirements
  • Proven culinary skills and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including COSHH and EHO standards
