About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at RedCat Pubs. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the development of our menu and ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence.

As a Sous Chef, you will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of chefs to deliver exceptional results. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in menu development and implementation
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs to deliver exceptional results
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
  • Assist with rotas, training, and management responsibilities
  • Have a good understanding of the working operations of a venue
Requirements
  • Good standards of culinary skills, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to keep calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to step up to Head Chef when required
  • Adhere to and maintain Health & Safety, EHO, and HACCP standards and procedures
  • Have an understanding of Stocktakes and GP%
