Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with Employee Benefit Consultants and Trustees of new PRT business to develop scheme-specific transition plans, ensuring the accurate and contractual recording of benefits secured. Your goal will be to reconcile scheme member data and provide up-to-date information for the ongoing administration of all schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a 'scheme-specific' transition plan for all transactions and provide documentation to all Trustees, their advisers, and interested parties within L&G.
  • Analyse scheme benefits and data to draft legal agreements for proper administration by Client Services.
  • Ensure all teams within PRT have correct benefit specification and data for accurate customer benefit entitlement and scheme funding.
  • Take responsibility for allocated scheme progress, including regular reviews, customer communications, and internal/external information provision.
  • Support new business origination and Transition Managers in stakeholder relationship management, including client meetings and presentations.
  • Follow processes for timely communication and audit trails of benefit and data items throughout the onboarding process.
  • Ensure internal customers and third parties are updated on key information impacting their processing for fair treatment of end customers.
  • Collaborate with the Transition Team Manager to develop the team by providing support and training to less experienced members in new processes.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
  • Pension Qualification such as CII or PMI or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of pension regulations for DB schemes, including de-risking requirements.
  • Understanding of benefit structure and administration in Defined Benefit schemes.
  • Compliance with GDPR, Money Laundering, Complaints, Treating Customers Fairly, and Breach guidelines.
Skills:
  • Project management and organisation.
  • Ability to manage tight timescales and prioritise work.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
