We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transition Manager to join our Transition team at Legal & General. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end scheme implementation and onboarding of a portfolio of Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of the implementation process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of PRT transactions.
- Support the PRT Business Development team in securing and maximizing new business opportunities by providing technical expertise.
- Liaise with trustees, brokers, and administrators to agree on a timescale and process for verifying data to ensure accurate benefit costing and legal liabilities.
- Establish and monitor actions against the agreed timetable, implementing remedial actions as necessary.
- Conduct Post Implementation Reviews for each scheme and meet with or report to Trustees, their advisers, and administrators as required.
- PMI Qualification.
- Prince 2 Practitioner.
- Demonstrable experience in administering and onboarding Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
- Knowledge of pension regulations for DB schemes, including wind-up requirements and interaction with PPF and FAS.
- Understanding of buy-out, buy-in, and longevity insurance and reinsurance products and propositions.
- Deep understanding of systems and processes required to meet annuity commitments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and financial skills, with ability to understand high volumes of customer data and pension benefit calculations.
- Experience in leading or participating in beauty parades and presenting to Trustees and Advisers.
- Understanding of current challenges and opportunities in the Pension Risk Transfer market.
