Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Interaction - Northampton. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing breakdown services, maintenance, and installations on industrial cleaning equipment.

You will work on an array of industrial cleaning equipment, using your technical expertise to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults. Your proven ability to use diagnostic equipment will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Breakdown services, maintenance, and installations on industrial cleaning equipment
  • Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
  • Maintenance of company vehicles and equipment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Electrical, Mechanical and/or Hydraulic fault finding, repair & service experience
  • Previous experience working in a mobile position within the Plant, Forklift and/or Automotive industries
  • Proven ability to use diagnostic equipment to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £38,500 per annum, plus overtime, and a range of benefits including:

  • Company van and fuel card provided
  • All travel time and expenses paid from home to site
  • Accommodation and food fully paid for when staying away (1 overnight stay every 2/3 weeks)
